Our work

One paw at a time

We carry out a daily feeding programme for stray dogs and feed about 20-25 dogs every morning.

We also get vaccinations and sterilizations done for the strays thereby controlling their population. We provide medical treatment on the spot if possible otherwise we send the animal to animal hospitals or shelters where they can be treated properly if long term treatment is required.

We also try to help old cows and donkeys that have been abandoned on the road by getting them admitted to gaushalas or donkey shelters. We would like to provide financial aid to such gaushalas, donkey shelters animal shelters, and hospitals for the maintenance and medical treatment of these helpless animals.

It is our aim to see that animals in our country are safe from exploitation, protected from cruelty, and free from hunger and sickness.

We also aim to take legal action against those exploiting animals and those subjecting them to cruelty.

Mahatma Gandhi had said, “The moral progress of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.“

We would like to spread awareness among children in schools, colleges, educational institutions, and adults in services including the police force to make them aware of laws that protect animals in our country as well as to sensitize them to the needs of animals and to encourage kindness and compassion for the voiceless.

We would also like to start a Gaushala and an animal shelter for old, abandoned, and homeless animals at some point of time in the near future.
